GIAN CALISE

I'm a designer, engineer, and artist. Since my childhood I've always had a love for drawing, sculpting, and creating, which blossomed into a career in engineering and design as well as a pursuit of fine arts on the side. Lately I've been doing a lot of figure drawing and digital art, but I typically paint with acrylics and pastels in many styles, taking inspiration from of a multitude of sources.

I currently work as a Solutions Consultant for Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS where I'm an expert in SOLIDWORKS CAD, 3DEXPERIENCE product development tools, and product design in general. I also work as a contractor on various independent design projects, as well as a part time lecturer in CAD for the Mechanical Engineering department at Tufts University.

 

I earned my Bachelors of Science (2018) and Masters of Science (2019) in Mechanical Engineering at Tufts University. While at Tufts, I played football (offensive line), but now I spend my free time drawing, painting, designing, and bicycling.
